San Diego was the next stop on our journey to Mexico. We stayed at The Police Docks for the allowed 10 days, then moved over to the boatyard for a little bit of work. We had been tracking a leak for several months now. We had initially had a stuffing box which drips consistently so we thought nothing of some water in the bilge. Ahoi, wij zijn Niels & Greetje. We hebben in juli 2020 de trossen losgegooid om een wereldreis met ons schip Black Moon te maken. Graag delen we onze avonturen met wie maar wil. Dus stap aan boord!

We besluiten een tocht naar de Amazone te maken. Het liefst zouden we dit met de Fidelis doen maar daar hebben we uit veiligheidsoverwegingen al voor vertrek van afgezien. In het zuidelijkste puntje van Colombia ligt het Plaatsje Leticia. Daar verbindt de Amazone Colombia, Peru en Brazilië met elkaar. We hebben samen met een lokaal reisbureau een trip van 3 dagen georganiseerd en samen met 2 dagen reizen zijn we 5 dagen onder de pannen. En hopelijk wordt er ondertussen aan de kuiptent gewerkt.
