Why this system?

• State-of-the-art electronics. A digital electronic expansion valve synchronized to a variable speed BLDC compressor constantly calibrates from 6 different data collection points
• 12V Direct Current. Yes, you can wire it yourself directly to a battery shunt. No VAC wiring, no inverters, no starter loads, and NO GENERATORS!
• Superior cooling. This unit can deliver up to 5000 BTU/hr.
• Control Box mounting flexibility. It can remain mounted to the side of the unit or use the 4 foot wiring harness to mount it separately. The wiring between the Control Box and the unit can be disconnected and reconnected.
• 1.75 GPM water flow. Small enough to T-it from an existing seacock. **Don’t forget, you still have to install a seawater pump – but with these units, all you need is a DC water pump (Not included)**

The new version of the system aims to run without generators or backup power other than a solar system, reducing power load on the battery bank and extending run times. Archer then discussed the unit’s design and efficiency, emphasizing its ability to cool specific areas on a boat, and demonstrated the unit’s user interface.

Variable Speed Compressor and New Fan Unit Discussion

Archer discussed the benefits of a variable speed compressor for energy efficiency. He demonstrated its usage, highlighting its ability to maintain a 20-25 degree Fahrenheit difference between incoming seawater temperature and the air coming out. Archer also introduced a new fan unit with three speed levels and a sleep timer function. He clarified that the unit’s cooling and humidity removal capabilities depend on the volume of air it needs to cool. Chad raised concerns about the unit’s installation and performance, suggesting potential improvements for future models.
